Safeguarding

Student Safety

CodeQuest is designed for learning and revision. This page explains basic safety expectations before wider school deployment.

For Students

Keep your password private. Do not share personal information in usernames, display names, lesson answers, code editors, or class-related messages. Ask a teacher, parent, guardian, or trusted adult if something feels wrong.

For Teachers

Teachers should only invite students they teach or are authorised to support. Class join codes should be shared privately with the intended class and not posted publicly.

Student Visibility

CodeQuest does not provide public student profiles. Class progress is intended to be visible only to authorised teachers for students who have joined their class. Public visitors and other students cannot see private student progress.
