Student Privacy

Privacy Explained For Students

This page explains, in plain language, what CodeQuest saves and who can see it.

What CodeQuest Saves

CodeQuest saves your account details, display name, avatar choice, class membership, lessons you complete, activity progress, quiz attempts, XP, levels, streaks, achievements, and assignment progress.

Why Progress Is Saved

Your progress is saved so you can carry on learning later, see what you have completed, earn XP and achievements, and get help from your teacher if you join a class.

Who Can See It

You can see your own progress. Teachers can only see your progress if you join their class. Other students and public visitors cannot see your private progress.

What Not To Share

Do not put your full name, address, phone number, school details, or other personal information in your username or display name. Do not share your password.

Data Is Not Sold

CodeQuest does not sell student data to advertisers. Essential cookies are used for login and security.

Getting Help

If you need help, want something corrected, or want an account deleted, speak to your teacher, parent, guardian, or contact CodeQuest through the contact page or at admin@mycode.quest.
